California Governor Posts AI Video of Trump in Cuffs

California Governor Gavin Newsom took a jab at former President Donald Trump by sharing an AI-generated video depicting Trump in handcuffs alongside Army Secretary Pete Hegseth and Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security. He captioned it, “It’s cuffing season.”

In his post, Newsom also shared a message from the White House which read, “SZN heard a cuffing sound,” using a chain emoji. The content suggested, “Bad news for illegal aliens who commit crimes. Great news for America.” The accompanying video appeared to show law enforcement activity and included a statement: “It’s already bad season.”

Newsom has previously defended his tweets aimed at Trump, asserting they were intended to “wake everyone up.” This particular exchange occurs amidst ongoing efforts by the Trump administration to tackle illegal immigration.

Additionally, Peter Navarro, a senior advisor under Trump, criticized Newsom, claiming that the California governor was inciting more violence. Navarro expressed his frustration over what he saw as Newsom’s misuse of the justice system.

In response to Navarro’s remarks, Newsom included a snowflake emoji when he shared the comment, maintaining his stance in the ongoing social media spat.

The context of this back-and-forth seems to reflect broader political tensions, especially regarding immigration policies and law enforcement strategies. It’s fascinating how social media has become a battleground for these discussions and, uh, I think it really opens the door for real-time reactions, doesn’t it?
