A California man has been charged with drugging and sexually assaulting at least nine women at his homes in Hermosa and Redondo Beach, the Los Angeles County district attorney announced.
The suspect, Michael DiGiorgio (50), is said to have committed the crime. Assault cases from 2019 to 2021According to the Los Angeles County Attorney's Office, this includes one victim who died under the influence of drugs.
A statement released by the Los Angeles County Attorney's Office said DiGiorgio caused great harm to some of his victims.
“Many of the acts occurred while the victims were under the influence of drugs, and DiGiorgio is suspected of seriously injuring the three victims,” authorities said in a statement.

“My heart goes out to the victims whose lives were irrevocably changed and to the lives lost as a result of the alleged brutal acts of these criminals,” Dist said. Atty. Georges Gascon said in a statement. “Our office is committed to holding him accountable for the pain and trauma he has caused.”
DiGiorgio is charged with one count of murder. Three felony counts of drug-induced rape. two counts of felony drug sodomy; five counts of felony sexual penetration through the use of drugs; one felony count of oral sex under the influence of drugs; One felony count of forcible rape. Two felony counts of forcible sexual penetration. One felony count of rape of an unconscious person. and two felony counts of supplying a controlled substance.

DiGiorgio was charged in Department 30 of the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center.
If convicted, he could face up to life in prison.
