Authorities arrested a California pastor Thursday on suspicion of sexually abusing his adopted daughter, according to a press release from the Hesperia Police Department.
Authorities have arrested José Manuel Lozano, 54, a pastor and adoptive father from Hesperia, on suspicion of chronic sexual abuse of two young girls.The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the arrest and detailed that Lozano faces charges of continuous sexual abuse of a minor, in a press release. said.
An investigation into allegations against Lozano as a foster parent and pastor ended with his arrest. The names of the churches have not been released, but the victims have been identified as two girls, ages 10 and 16. After his arrest, authorities booked Lozano into the High Desert Detention Center on $5 million bail.
