Cardi B has slammed a prank caller who alerted Child Protective Services (CPS) that her three children were in danger.
The Grammy winner, 32, slammed the “messy” prank. Instagram live Monday night when he was pulled from his hospital bed.
“So I want to be clear: I can't even breathe right now,” she said in the video. “It's too bad for mothers when you mess with my children.”
“I promise, I'm going to get to the bottom of it all, okay? Just make a little prank call to your moms.”
“How could Child Protective Services come to my house? Not at my house, but in my gated mansion, at 11 p.m. while my children were sleeping, I received an anonymous call and my children… I got an anonymous call saying I was being abused and beaten. Are you an idiot?”
In the video, the rapper told fans that he had been feeling unwell for several days and had been hospitalized since Saturday.
“At this point, the prank goes too far. The motherfuckers think it's funny and they think it's not funny,” she added.
The Bodak Yellow hitmaker added that she was “confused” by the prank.
“We're the only people of color in my neighborhood, and the reason moms show up at my house with the police and child protective services is because you moms want to make anonymous calls involving my kids. Because…I promise you, I’m going to sue CPS for the shit that comes to my house at any time. ”
Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Cefas, also vowed to “sue the person who made the anonymous call.''
“We're going to get to the bottom of this. You guys are making jokes and going a little overboard, so we're going to hire the best private investigator in the country,” she continued.
“Play with my motherhood or my ex-husband's fatherhood,” she said of ex-husband Offset, adding that their children are off-limits.
“We don't play like that. My children have a great life. “My children have never been touched or hit, no matter how much trouble they caused,” she said. “I have never hit my children,” he added.
The “I Like It” hitmaker listed how much money she spends on her children's tuition and childcare.
“They go to the best schools. My daughter's tuition is a whopping $45,000,” she said of her 6-year-old daughter Kulture, adding that it costs $700 a day to nanny her newborn.
“I spend more money on my kids than I do on clothes,” said Cardi B, who also shares 3-year-old son Wave with Offset. “We really care about our children.”
Elsewhere in the video, Cardi B says her ex-girlfriend would “beat up” anyone who reported their children to CPS.
“I'll look into it myself, and I know you want to know what I'm going to do. I'm not even going to press charges against you,” she said.
“If you were a boy, my little father would beat you to the teeth. If you were a woman, me and Hennessy would beat you to the teeth because you were playing with my mother's children.” I would hit a target,” she said, referring to her sister.
“It's not all a joke. It's not all a terrible prank,” she said, adding that heavy security was in place at her home.
