Cartel gunmen kidnapped and tortured two men who had been filming themselves sexually assaulting an elderly woman in a local market.
The incident occurred this week in Sahuayo, Michoacan, when two men were recorded fondling and assaulting an elderly woman who was cleaning aisles at a local market. The men took turns assaulting the woman and can be heard laughing in the video. Breitbart Texas has not identified the victim of the sexual assault.
The men shared the video on social media, sparking outrage across Mexico. Almost immediately, gunmen from the Sahuayo-based Jalisco New Generation Cartel tracked down and abducted the men. They took two of them to the countryside, where they filmed themselves stripping their trousers and beating them with large wooden paddles.
The cartel gunman who filmed the video asked the men if they were going to continue joking around, messing with innocent women, while another gunman beat them with a paddle. He then ordered the men to beg for forgiveness and beat them again with a paddle. After the torture, the cartel gunman released the two men.
Michoacan state authorities claimed they had no knowledge of the incident and had not received a report from the woman or the two men.
As Breitbart Texas reported, the CJNG is one of Mexico’s most violent criminal organizations, implicated in numerous terrorist acts, including the murder of innocent victims, the widespread use of explosives, and ongoing turf wars with rival organizations for control of drug production and smuggling routes into Mexico.
