Carville Criticizes Far-Left Policies Impacting Democrats

Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville has voiced his concerns about certain liberal policies he believes are detrimental to the Democratic Party. During a discussion on the “Politics War Room” podcast, he specifically targeted leftists endorsing transgender participation in women’s sports, describing their actions as attempts to gain “cheap political points with a bunch of leftist zombies.” He argued that these approaches are harmful to women who are dedicated to competing.

On a related note, former California governor and gubernatorial candidate Betty Yee shared her views on Piers Morgan Uncensored, suggesting that gender-neutral categories should be considered for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. She stated, “I think transgender athletes are also female athletes and should be able to compete.”

Carville sharply disagreed with Yee, expressing his frustration. He highlighted that he speaks from a paternal perspective, emphasizing that, while his daughters were not particularly athletic, he knows many parents whose daughters are actively involved in sports, such as soccer and volleyball. “What their parents don’t want is for them to compete with males,” he said.

Yee later proposed comparing the performance stats of women from previous Olympics against their male counterparts in the same events to understand the differences.

In response, Carville reiterated that pushing for these changes serves as a disservice to hard-working female athletes and noted that interest in women’s sports is growing rapidly. “The number one thing they have to do is compete with the Duke University men’s basketball team,” he commented.

He further described the situation as “asinine, asinine, asinine.” Co-host Al Hunt added that this issue raises concerns about Title IX and credited Richard Nixon for its inception.

Carville then posed a rhetorical question, asking, “Where do these people come from? What rock did they climb out from under?”

Fox News Digital attempted to contact Yee for a response but did not receive an immediate reply.
