Carville retracts Epstein story and apologizes following contact from Melania's lawyer

First Lady Melania Trump Responds to Apology from James Carville

First Lady Melania Trump recently shared a post on social media after Democratic strategist James Carville retracted statements he previously made during his podcast.

In the latest episode of his Politics War Room Podcast, Carville shifted from his typical storytelling style to a more serious tone. He remarked, “On last week’s podcast, we had a discussion with Judd Legum. Following that episode, I received a letter from Melania Trump’s attorney, who took issue with some comments I made, particularly regarding one of the titles used in that YouTube video.”

Melania Trump even posted a screenshot of the apology transcript, along with an edited screenshot of the episode titled “Epstein Connection: Trump & Melania.”

There’s more going on in the political scene as, in another related story, House Republicans have issued subpoenas concerning the Clintons and the Department of Justice while monitoring the Epstein investigation.

The controversy surrounding Melania Trump stemmed from how Carville described her introduction to Donald Trump. Aids to the First Lady, like Nick Clemens, have commented to outlets explaining that last week, the Daily Beast revisited claims made by journalist Michael Wolff, suggesting that Melania was introduced to Donald Trump through a modeling agent linked to Jeffrey Epstein, following a challenge from her legal team.

In a reflection of the situation, the Daily Beast later issued editor’s notes, acknowledging that after the story ran, they received a letter from Melania’s attorneys questioning the framing and headlines of the article. After evaluating the concerns, they ultimately decided to revise the article and apologize for any confusion.
