Charlamagne the God Critiques Trump Administration Following Activist’s Death

On a recent broadcast, radio host Charlamagne the God spoke out against the Trump administration, expressing her belief that one day, President Trump and his associates will face prosecution.

Her remarks came in response to the tragic death of 37-year-old activist and nurse Alex Preti during an encounter with federal immigration agents. This incident has ignited discussion about gun rights, especially concerning individuals carrying firearms at protests and during confrontations with law enforcement.

Charlamagne raised questions about the integrity of officials in the administration, stating, “How many people serving in this administration will keep wiping their slates clean on documents representing the highest law of the United States?”

“That document is the Constitution. It’s supposed to clearly outline the structure of our government and protect our fundamental rights. But it seems that has shifted, and people have stopped saying ‘We the People.’

Additionally, she took issue with comments made by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem regarding Preti’s firearm at the protest, asking rhetorically, “Why do people bring guns to Starbucks?”

“It’s concerning to see that people think it’s acceptable to carry weapons everywhere. We live in a country where this has become common. This is similar to what happens in dictatorships; it’s a distortion of our reality.”

Continuing her critique, Charlamagne warned that the current political climate has drawn comparisons to Germany in the 1940s. “Sure, people refer to that dark time, but remember, the Nazis were ultimately called out and held accountable for their actions,” she reflected. “One day, we will also see a shift away from MAGA ideology in this country.” She noted that the historical accountability of the Nazi regime had to happen through a process of justice.

The White House and the Department of Homeland Security have yet to provide responses to inquiries regarding the remarks.
