Left-wing pop star Cher was slammed on X for saying President Joe Biden needed to “pass the baton” after he dropped out of the race. “Hey, check the news,” one social media user replied.
“I am struggling in my heart because I don’t believe that ‘President Biden’ ‘Joe’, the man I’ve loved since we met in 2008, can win the Democratic presidential election,” Scheer wrote. “I’ve campaigned for him and I believe it’s time to pass the baton. It’s time for Democrats to think outside the box. Maybe even split the vote.”

Biden ended his reelection campaign on Sunday, Breitbart News reported.
“Serving as your president has been the greatest honor of my life,” he said. “While I intended to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and our country that I step down and focus solely on fulfilling the duties of my presidency for the remainder of my term.”
Biden later issued a statement endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as his running mate.
“Today, I want to fully endorse and support Kamala to be our party’s nominee this year,” Biden said. “Democrats, now is the time to come together and defeat Trump.”
