I’m amazed at how much this trade helps out my fantasy football team.
Superstar wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is being shipped to Kansas City in a blockbuster trade between the Chiefs and Tennessee Titans.
Tennessee is landing a conditional fourth-round pick in return in a deal that is expected to become official by Wednesday. (RELATED: Los Angeles Rams Looking To Trade Cooper Kupp After He Regains Health In True ‘Welcome Back’ Fashion: REPORT)
Ever since wide receiver Rashee Rice went out for the season with a right knee injury that required surgery, the Chiefs have needed a boost at the WR position, and they’ve got it with D-Hop. Back in the preseason, Kansas City lost receiver Marquise “Hollywoood” Brown because of a shoulder injury, and then JuJu Smith-Schuster was another ball-catcher lost recently due to a hamstring injury.
A 12-year veteran, Hopkins is in the last campaign of a two-year contract that he inked with Tennessee in 2013. Back in the offseason, he suffered a torn MCL, but was able to recover before the regular season got started.
In 2024 Hopkins has 173 yards and one touchdown off 15 receptions, playing in six contests. A five-time Pro Bowler, Hopkins has also suited up for the Arizona Cardinals and Houston Texans.

I’m not gonna lie, my first reaction to this trade is how much this helps out my fantasy football team. I’ve got Patrick Mahomes and DeAndre Hopkins, with both of them being benched right now. All of a sudden, this connection might make my team lethal, and wouldn’t that be something.
Go Miami Sharks!
