Chiefs’ Justin Reid defends Taylor Swift: ‘I don’t understand why she’s getting all the hate’

Taylor Swift’s appearance in the Super Bowl will likely be a hot topic during the Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers game.

Chiefs defensive back Justin Reid admitted in a recent interview that he doesn’t understand why so many people are upset about the reports about Swift. He gave a glowing review of Travis Kelsey’s pop star girlfriend.

“She’s a very, very sweet person,” Reid told TMZ Sports in a recent interview. “She found a way to compliment everyone she spoke to. She can’t understand why she’s hated. She’s a great person and a great artist.”

Swift joined the Chiefs on the field for the AFC Championship celebration. Kelce put together some of his best games of the season in the playoffs. He had three touchdown catches and 17 catches for 191 yards.

He revealed a little more about his relationship with Swift during a recent appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.” Kelsey didn’t deny it when she said McAfee used the word “in love.”

“That’s beautiful,” he replied. “Hopefully everyone understands that we’re just two people in a relationship who support each other and enjoy it, but it’s nothing more than that and how the world Even if they just paint a picture and try to make us the enemy, we just have to have fun. We’re having fun with it all.”

Some NFL fans can’t stand their relationship, arguing that the league’s focus on Swift during broadcasts is tainting football.

But Kelce and Swift are no strangers to naysayers and haters. Swift has been dealing with this issue for quite some time as a global pop star, but Kelce and the Chiefs are probably the most hated team in the NFL because of their success.

“She’s been dealing with that problem forever,” Kelce told McAfee of their haters. “We hear about it, but we rarely talk about it, we don’t even talk about it, we don’t really talk about it.
