Patrick Mahomes Sr., the father of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl-winning quarterback, was charged Wednesday with drunken driving and faces 10 years in prison.
Mahomes Sr. was arrested on February 3 after being caught by police in Texas with an open container of alcohol in his car and “admitting to consuming alcoholic beverages,” according to reports. It was done. new york daily news.

He was arrested on February 4 in Tyler, Texas and booked into the Smith County Jail. This is his third arrest for drunk driving.
The Chiefs star told reporters he was well aware that his father was in legal jeopardy, but didn’t want to say much about it.
“I don’t want to go into too much detail, but he’s performed well in all situations,” he said. “It’s a family matter. I’ll keep this to myself, that’s all I really want to say at this point.”

Mahomes Sr. played professional baseball for 11 seasons with teams including the New York Mets, Boston Red Sox, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
He is a father of three. Patrick (28 years old), Jackson (23 years old) and his youngest daughter Zoe.
