Xavier Worthy filed a lawsuit against his ex-fiance in Williamson County, Texas, claiming that he assaulted an NFL wide receiver and stole and destroyed more than $150,000 in cash and property.
The worthy lawsuit alleges that Tia Jones “planned to force a home, money, car and other valuables by concocting a false narrative of domestic violence,” and that Chief Leiceber's lawyers are seeking damages between $250,000 and $1 million. According to the Kansas City star.
Worthy was arrested on March 7th on suspicion of assaulting his family for obstructing breathing/circulation, but prosecutors refused to file charges.
The lawsuit now argues that everything stems from being worth asking Jones to leave the residence that he purchased after alleged discovery of an affair on the part of a Jones.
According to the lawsuit, she asked Jones to leave the residence, offering to find a nearby apartment “multiple times” over the course of 12 days, but she refused the offer.
In the lawsuit, the worthy items included photos of damage in his game room and where his hair was torn from his head.
“Detective Jones, instead of leaving and amicably separate, became furious, engaged in a series of abusive and urgent efforts, destroying his game room, including his gaming desk and console. [a PlayStation 5]and his key to Rolls-Royce,” the lawsuit said. According to ESPN. “Defendant Jones began physically assaulting the plaintiff by scratching his face, tearing his hair area, causing pain and injuries.”
Jones' attorney declined to comment on Worthy's case when the Kansas City star reached Monday.
Jones, 24, is a track and field star who competed in international events.
