Chris Pratt recalls the life-changing moments that rocked him to “make a deal with God” to save his son Jack.
In 2012, Jack was born seven weeks earlier and weighed only 3 pounds and 10 ounces. In his recent appearance in “Fox & Friends,” Pratt explained that at that moment his attitude towards faith had changed.
“The most shocking moment was when my son was born. He was born early and had healthy fears. At that moment, I made some deals with God just like you were when you were praying.

“I will give you my life. I will give you my platform. I will not be ashamed to talk to you or talk about you. And he saved my son and I have been trying to do that promise ever since,” Pratt said.

Pratt and his ex-wife Anna Faris welcomed Jack in 2012 and have continued to be his co-parent since the split in 2017.
“I really did some business with God, just like you were praying. If you save my son, I will give you everything.”
Pratt married Katherine Schwarzenegger in June 2019 after meeting at church. Schwarzenegger's mother, Maria Schreiber, helped them set up the two at a ceremony held in Montecito, California. The couple welcomed their eldest son, Laila, in August 2020.

Pratt told “Fox & Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt that it's a “hard time” to be a child now, with the increase in smartphones and the anxiety they may cause.

“It's been a difficult time to be a child, and the emergence of smartphones has created a lot of anxiety among young people,” he said.
Pratt, who recently announced a partnership with the Halloween Prayer app, said that smartphones “do not go anywhere,” but can be used to learn more about Jesus.

He explained that the app can help people enter the “everyday” of prayer and “wear God's armor every day.” Also supported by Mark Wahlberg and “chosen” star Jonathan Roomy, the app consists of 365 podcasts that will allow listeners to pass the Bible in a year.

“It can be really hard to understand, contextualize, understand,” he said of the Bible. “They do a really great job of breaking it into bite-sized pieces, reading it to you, then explaining what they read to you.”

For the loan, Pratt explained that he has given up on sugar and social media.
