We must pray for President Donald Trump as he begins his second term as president.
Christians should pray for Trump not only because we are taught to pray for the authorities, but because it is wise to pray for Trump (Proverbs 21:1, Proverbs 28:2, Romans 13) :1, Colossians 1:16-17, 1 Timothy 2:1-4). We would be wise to pray for Mr. Trump because he is responsible for leading our country and his leadership directly impacts all of us, for better or worse.
The apostle Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 2:1-4:
First of all, therefore, I petition on behalf of all people, kings and all authorities, that we may live in peace and quiet in all piety and holiness. , we urge you to pray, intercede, and give thanks. This is a good thing, and God our Savior wants everyone to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
Praying for our leaders is good for us and good for them. But how exactly should we pray for Trump?
Here are some prompts:
- Please pray that God bless and protect him, his family, and staff.
- Pray that God will bless and guide President Trump's decisions.
- Pray for Trump and his entire administration to rely on God's wisdom instead of relying on their own.
- Please pray that Mr. Trump will seek God's will first and foremost.
- We pray that Mr. Trump will be humble, gracious, peace-making, merciful, obedient to God, fair and just, faithful, and courageous as our 47th president. Must be.
- Let us pray that Trump will be a faithful instrument to accomplish God's will.
- Please pray for the salvation of the people of the Trump administration.
Prayer for President Trump
O merciful heavenly Father, ruler of all, king of the universe,
Please send blessings to President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance, their families, and the Trump Administration. Guide and guide their leadership and give them wisdom to guide our nation with humility, peace, grace, mercy, justice, and obedience to You.

I pray that you will announce good news. And resurrection, salvation will be given to every soul – fall on fertile soil and your harvest will be rich.
O Supreme Ruler, we pray that your will be done in America and on earth as it is in heaven.
Now, merciful Father, in whom we trust, according to the power of your Spirit working in us, we will do more than we could ever ask or imagine. He is the one who can accomplish it. Glory to you in our nation, in your church, and in Christ. Jesus to every generation, forever and ever! Amen.
