The women's college basketball team won the national championship despite being recognized for the criticism of the opposing team for having male athletes.
Columbia Bible College won the University of Canada Athletic Association's National Women's Basketball Championship on Saturday night, beating St. Mary's 77-70. This was the first national championship in school history.
The CBC had previously been approved for controversy over transgender players and the debate that Christian schools refused to retreat from their beliefs.
