Chuck Schumer Appoints Kennedy Figure Who Disparages Usha Vance and Cheryl Hines to America 250 Commission

Jack Schlossberg, 32, has been appointed to the US 250 Committee by Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), amid controversies surrounding his behavior towards women.

“We are excited to announce Jack Schlossberg’s appointment to the US 250 Commission,” Schumer said in a recent statement. “It’s important to ensure that America’s 250th birthday reflects our values, and I believe Jack is the right person for this job.”

Schlossberg, often viewed as a product of nepotism, is the grandson of former President John F. Kennedy and the son of Caroline Kennedy. Despite his lineage, many question his contributions, particularly regarding his inappropriate remarks towards women.

In a social media post, he expressed his joy about becoming a father, sharing photos of himself with Second Lady Usha Vance. “Today is one of the best days of my life,” he wrote, somewhat abruptly focusing on his family.

This wasn’t an isolated incident. Back in February, Schlossberg shared a picture of Vice President Kamala Harris and her newborn, joking, “Maybe it was us!” And in another post, he professed affection for Vance, declaring, “I’m here for you,” as he sang love songs.

He even drew attention on social media with a provocative question comparing Vance’s looks to those of Jackie Kennedy. His commentary hasn’t been entirely light-hearted; he has, at times, targeted his cousin Cheryl Hines, married to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., in a somewhat disrespectful manner.

Schlossberg has also made headlines for his remarks following a tragedy involving an unvaccinated child, criticizing Hines with a rather harsh tone. One notable statement captured his, let’s say, peculiar sense of humor.

When Hines was asked about Schlossberg’s behaviors, she cautiously said, “I don’t want to say much. He seems to enjoy being talked about.” She also mentioned that she was uncertain about his current state.

With the US 250 Committee soon approaching, it’s interesting to note that Chuck Schumer’s selection process led him to pick Schlossberg, raising eyebrows about the Kennedy family’s latest developments.
