Intelligence Officials Remove Documents from JFK and MK Ultra Files
Two intelligence officials have revealed that they took documents out of the JFK and MK Ultra files, as Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard contemplated declassifying them upon presidential directive.
A whistleblower from the CIA testified before the Senate Homeland Security Committee, stating that the agency “recovered 40 boxes of JFK and MK Ultra files” and accused the agency of “illegally monitoring” the computer and phone usage of Gabbard’s agents who were looking into a potential cover-up regarding the origins of the coronavirus. To clarify, MK Ultra was an illicit CIA program that explored mind control tactics using drugs and psychological torture.
Before the testimony occurred, CIA spokeswoman Liz Lyons accused the committee of acting with “malice” for not informing the agency in advance about a witness named James Erdman III, who would testify. Lyons claimed, “The witnesses testifying today did not appear in court as whistleblowers seeking the truth, but in response to subpoenas issued by Chairman Paul.”
She further stated, “This proceeding is nothing but disingenuous political theater disguised as a Congressional hearing. As the CIA has already assessed, COVID-19 most likely arose from a lab breach, and efforts to reverse that conclusion are disingenuous.”
Former CIA agent John Kiriakou also weighed in, saying during an interview that the CIA lacks authority over the Director of National Intelligence or the president. He argued, “The CIA can’t overrule the president, the CIA can’t even overrule the director of national intelligence. These files are required to be declassified. The American people have a right to know what’s in these files.” Kiriakou added, “Real life can’t work like this. This is crazy.”
Meanwhile, Florida Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna issued a threat to subpoena the CIA if the documents weren’t returned to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence within 24 hours.
