Claims Police Are Subservient to Trans Activists and Free Speech Is Under Threat

Graham Reinhan Considers Moving to the US Amid Controversies

Graham Reinhan, the creator of Father Ted, has expressed his desire to leave the UK permanently. He claims that trans activists are attacking police and asserts that freedom of speech is on the decline. As a result, he’s contemplating a new life in the United States, distancing himself from what he refers to as “Nut Jobs.”

This statement comes after an incident in which Reinhan was arrested by armed police over tweets critical of transgender issues. In a recent interview, he mentioned feeling threatened by Irish citizens following his arrest.

After appearing in court to address charges linked to a transgender teenager, Reinhan has been accused of harassing 18-year-old Sofia Brooks on social media. He allegedly caused damage during a confrontation at a meeting last October.

Reinhan has denied all allegations of harassment and property damage.

In his statements, Reinhan voiced his dissatisfaction with the British police’s perceived collaboration with trans activists, asserting that this stems from an effort to atone for prior accusations of racism. He likened their actions to being influenced by a “gang,” questioning when women’s complaints would be prioritized over those he views as insincere.

“I exposed the police for what they are,” he declared, reflecting on how his arrest at the airport was a significant mistake on their part.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police countered these claims, stating that they are committed to handling complaints fairly and without bias.

While Reinhan is currently looking into settling in Arizona, he has expressed concerns about US President Donald Trump. Interestingly, some other public figures are doing quite the opposite; actress Robin Wright has recently made headlines for moving from the US to the UK, calling her decision a “liberation.” She described her experiences in the UK as refreshing and a stark contrast to the intense and competitive nature she associates with life in America.

“People here are genuinely kind. They seem alive and not caught up in the rush,” she remarked, reflecting on her new life away from the US.
