“What concerns me most is that if you look at what Harris has said as vice president, every time she has had an opportunity to speak on this issue as vice president, setting aside what she said as a presidential candidate, she has slammed Israel and said things that are factually incorrect,” Senor told “Squawk Box” co-hosts Andrew Ross Sorkin and Joe Kernen. “Her positions are much further to the left than Biden's, so now you might say, 'Well, just follow Biden's policy,' but what she said was basically saying Israel should not have invaded Rafah.”
President Joe Biden Criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not accept the ceasefire on Monday, and Harris needs to answer questions about why he opposes the Israeli operation in Rafah, Senor said.
“What Ms. Harris said most clearly is that Israel cannot go to Rafah. We now know that the six hostages who have been massacred in the last few days were in Rafah,” Senor said. “There are many more hostages in Rafah. It is highly likely that Hamas' high command, including Mr. Sinwar, are also in Rafah. What is the basis for the idea that VP Harris has instructed Israel not to enter Rafah?”
Harris did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
