Data Analyst Shares Evidence Against Code Pink Amid Legal Threats
A prominent data analyst known as Datarepublican recently released damaging evidence regarding Code Pink’s alleged connections with the Communist Chinese government after the group issued legal threats against her.
Jennika Pond, who works as a database kernel engineer, took to social media on Wednesday to share that she received a message from Code Pink accusing her of libel.
In their message, the organization stated, “We are writing to formally address and correct false and defamatory statements made in recent social media posts about CodePink. These claims falsely assert that our organization is funded by China, the Communist Party of China (CCP), or foreign governments—these are completely unfounded and endorsed by honorary lib.”
Pond responded directly, saying, “I share the facts without spin.”
She posted images related to a Code Pink campaign titled “China is not our enemy,” revealing that the organization is funded significantly by Neville Singham, a businessman and social activist. There’s an ongoing investigation into Singham and other billionaires for allegedly acting on behalf of the Chinese government, which could be a breach of the Foreign Agent Registration Act.
Pond’s posts also illustrated how Code Pink has previously promoted propaganda, such as downplaying the Uyghur genocide—an atrocity the U.S. State Department has affirmed.
Additionally, she shared an interview with Jodie Evans, Singham’s wife and co-founder of Code Pink, in which Evans attempted to justify the Chinese government’s actions.
Historically, Code Pink gained notoriety for opposing U.S. military actions, particularly in Iraq and Afghanistan, and currently expresses opposition to U.S. actions against the Houthi terrorist group.
Datarepublican, who has worked anonymously to expose fraud and corruption within the government, revealed her identity earlier this year in a bid to take control of her narrative against those who sought to silence her.
In February, she remarked, “I’ve been doxxed. I’m dealing with this directly, not letting others control the story.” She explained her unique communication challenges due to being 100% deaf and nonverbal, noting that her struggles with fluency stem from a specific autism-related condition.
Pond has continued her efforts to document and clarify issues surrounding government funding fraud.
