A Colorado man allegedly tried to rob a bank but things didn't go as planned.
Police said the robbery suspect handed the teller a note, but was unable to decipher what he had written and left without taking anything.
According to Loveland Police, the incident occurred just before 5 p.m. on Dec. 17 at the First National Bank, 750 North Lincoln Avenue in Loveland, Colorado.
The city is located approximately 80 miles north of Denver.
Police said the man entered the bank and handed a teller what appeared to be a confusing note.
However, the teller had a hard time reading the note because it was almost completely illegible, according to CBS Colorado.
The man reportedly became irritated as the teller struggled to read the note and immediately left the bank.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
Surveillance camera footage showed a man wearing a brown hoodie, green pants, a green baseball cap, sunglasses and brown gloves.
