Brutal video of allegedly racially motivated beating of high school student released investigating According to the Connecticut State Police.
The video shows a group of people laughing and recording the girl, who is believed to be a student at Greenwich High School, being beaten by two assailants.
Greenwich Police said they were called to Byram Park around 8:25pm on Tuesday night “for reports of a large group of boys and young adults gathering outside of hours.”
The injured girl was found after police dispersed the crowd and was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Police said she was the victim of an assault.
After learning that a video of the assault had allegedly been published on social media, police called in detectives from the Community Impact Unit to help identify the suspects involved.
A video of the brutal incident was posted by the popular TikTok account Libs and received over 3.1 million views in just a few hours.
The video’s description simply said, “She said the n-word was thrown.”
School officials previously cited an incident of assault by a student at Greenwich High School. was assaulted A video was then posted on social media.
