Former UFC champion Conor McGregor has pledged to end issues related to refugee intake if elected president of Ireland.
McGregor visited the White House on St. Patrick's Day and briefly spoke to media members about the “tragedy” of the “illegal immigrant racket” committed by Irish citizens.
He then gave the current government a 12-day limit, created a plan surrounding the “massive deportation” of criminals and illegal immigrants, and a way to end Ireland's trafficking. If the government fails to comply with the timeline, McGregor said he would send out his plans written to the White House.
“Ireland has a massive illegal migration problem.”
On Sunday, McGregor pushed the idea of running for Irish presidency in a series of posts on X, focusing on Irish citizen immigration, refugees and overall quality of life.
“Ireland has the issue of mass illegal immigration that has eradicated our community and exacerbated the housing, homelessness and healthcare crisis. McGregor I wrote it.
He added that the country has not had proper infrastructure, services or checks in place, and that illegal immigration must be “suspended and reversed” for the country to survive.
The 36-year-old then turned his attention to “trafficking rackets” through a refugee centre known as the International Center for Conservation and Accommodation. IPAS is part of the youth who deals with Ireland's children's sector, equality, disability, integration, and accommodation for asylum seekers and refugees.
“We need to end our hotels, office blocks, nursing homes, and now even schools are transforming into IPAS centres!” McGregor I cried out. “There are currently over 300 IPAS centres across Ireland, and more proposals have been proposed this year alone. The destruction of our nation just before our eyes is embraced by our own government!”
McGregor later revealed him I won't vote They have supported the European Union's immigration agreement without a vote from the Irish people, and since then Irish citizens have been enslaved while they pay “new to parish visitors.”
“[Refugees/asylum seekers] All the profits under the sun and now exposed (silenced) foreign imported vehicles are always paid at the time they need to,” McGregor argued. That's what Irish people should get now! Because it's absolutely bold!!”
Does he qualify?
Many argue whether McGregor is legally entitled to run for Ireland's president. According to the government website, McGregor is qualified, but must be appointed by a certain number of sitting government officials.
An Irish presidential candidate must be at least 35 years old and be an Irish citizen and appointed to at least 20 members of the Irish Parliament or at least four county councils.
McGregor then needs to be elected by people's votes.
Irish have raised the idea of running for president from 2024, and have the potential to use important forces that are commonly considered rituals.
The president's powers include the appointment of a prime minister, government members and judges. Similarly, the president can disband or summon Congress, as McGregor argued.
