The convicted drug dealer sentenced to prison by former President Joe Biden has returned to the back of the bar after being arrested for multiple drug and firearm crimes.
Willie Frank Peterson, 52, was arrested Monday in Dothan, Alabama. The Dothan Police Department charged Peterson with two illegal possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and three firearm-related crimes. Arrest record.

Peterson was previously convicted in 2023 of conspiracy to distribute cocaine. The US Lawyer's Office for the Central District of Alabama said in July 2023. statement Peterson conspired with Kenneth Shelden Glasgow of Code Fendant to distribute cocaine.
Glasgow agreed to purchase cocaine from Peterson in 2018 and 2019, according to Peterson's legal agreement. Glasgow was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison on tax evasion, mail fraud and drug conspiracy charges.

Fox News Peterson reported that he was sentenced to 75 months in prison from September 13, 2023. However, Peterson served only 20 months in prison on January 17, 2025 by President Biden.
Peterson will be re-registered a few weeks after he is released from prison.
Peterson was one of nearly 2,500 prisoners Biden notified to prison in January. Biden in January argued that individuals “providing disproportionately long sentences compared to the sentences they receive today under current laws, policies and practices.”
“Today's tolerant behavior provides relief to individuals who receive long sentences based on the uncredible distinction between cracks and powdered cocaine, and strengthening outdated sentences on drug crimes,” Biden said at the time. “It's time for Congress to equalize the gap between these sentences, as permitted through the Fair Judgment Act and the First Step Act.”
“This action has now issued more individual pardons and commut extensions than any president in US history,” Biden's statement read.
As reported previously by Blaze News, Biden notified the sentences of 1,500 inmates and forgived 39 others on December 12, 2024. Biden said in December that individuals who received the sentence “showed successful rehabilitation and a commitment to making the community safer.”
“President Biden is also the first president to issue category pardons to individuals convicted of simple use and possession of marijuana, and former LGBTQI+ service members convicted of private conduct due to sexual orientation.” statement read.
