Country Music Star Lainey Wilson Reveals Engagement To Former NFL QB Devlin ‘Duck’ Hodges

Country music star Lainey Wilson announced her engagement to Devlin “Duck” Hodges in an Instagram post Feb. 12.

“4x4xU forever [red heart emoji],” Wilson wrote on her social media account while announcing the news to her 3 million followers. She shared a series of romantic photos and videos alongside the clever reference to her track “4x4xU” off her latest album, titled, “Whirlwind.” The country music sensation didn’t specify the day Hodges proposed to her, but she did include a light-hearted video that showed her walking down outdoor stairs with her head down before staring into the camera and saying “boo!” as she held up her gorgeous engagement ring.

Other images shared include a close-up scene of what appeared to be the proposal. Picture frames were strategically placed in front of a door with candles and roses all around them. Two black-and-white photos of the lovebirds were also part of the gallery of images. One of them showed the happy couple kissing, and another was of Hodges holding a small cowboy hat while Wilson showed off her shiny new diamond.

The star’s comment section ignited with messages from celebrity friends that shared in the couple’s excitement as they embark on the exciting new phase of their relationship.

Singer Kaitlin Butts wrote, “SHE’S WALKIN WITH A LIMP YALL. Congrats you two,” and singer Carly Pearce wrote “AWWWW CONGRATS.”
