Singer Ingrid Andress has vowed to check into rehab after admitting to singing out of tune while drunk. Stars and Stripes During the MLB Home Run Derby in Arlington, Texas on Monday.
Fans voiced their condemnation after the 32-year-old singer gave an awkward rendition of the national anthem, in which the singer went up and down the key erratically, seemed to slur her words, and was inappropriately loud and shrill in some verses yet inaudibly quiet in others.

After receiving criticism for her performance, Andres acknowledged that she was intoxicated when she took the stage to sing the national anthem that night, and has vowed to seek some kind of help for her addiction.
“I’m not gonna lie, I was drunk last night,” she wrote on her Instagram account.
“I will be admitted to a facility today to get the help I need,” she continued. “I was not like that last night.”
“I apologize to MLB, all my fans and the country I love for this production,” she concluded. “I’ll let you all know what rehab is like. I hear it’s a lot of fun.”

In 2019, Andres had a big hit with the single “More Hearts Than Mine,” and has also released a hit studio album. Ladylike and Good person, And she was the opening act for Keith Urban’s 2022 tour. Along the way, she’s won two BMI Country Awards and been nominated four times for a Grammy. Her father, Brad Andres, played in the MLB for the Detroit Tigers, Colorado Rockies and New York Mets and also attended the University of Michigan.
