California Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency over the spread of bird flu, which is currently considered a low risk to Americans, but Liz Wheeler of “The Liz Wheeler Show” I can't help but feel that this is eerily similar. Back to what happened 4 years ago.
“Hey everyone, we're in COVID 2.0,” Wheeler commented, “just in time for Christmas. By the way, under the last public health emergency, Gavin Newsom wasn't allowed to celebrate with his family. You were only allowed to go outside, remember?
“No more than 2 households, no more than 2 hours, no masks, no singing, shouting, hugging. Gavin Newsom's real rules, and he declared bird flu the next coronavirus.” ” she continued.
Wheeler remembers this well, having lived in California during the coronavirus pandemic.
“The day Gavin Newsom declared a public health emergency and lockdown in California is a day burned into my memory. I turned to my husband and said, 'Can I leave the house?' I'll never forget that. Is that what he wants to tell us, that we are not allowed to leave, or that if I drive down the road a cop will stop me and arrest me for what? ? ” she recalls.
“Gavin Newsom has locked down people's businesses, closed restaurants, closed California's beaches and parks,” she said, noting that he once ignored lockdown rules to go to a park. .
“A police officer in an ATV came up to me fully masked and said, 'Ma'am, please leave the park. The park is closed.' And I thought, 'Oh, why?' And he goes, “Well, it's social distancing.” I thought, “You're the only person near me in this park.'' There's no one else near me. So if there's a public health risk posted, that's you to initiate contact with me,” she explains.
“Gavin Newsom is doing the same thing. He declared a public health emergency regarding bird flu. But why would he do that?” she asks before answering herself. “Give yourself emergency powers to close schools and churches, mandate social distancing, and mandate vaccinations.”
“If people don't resist, he will do it again,” she added.
