ICE Arrests Nearly 1,500 Illegal Aliens in Massachusetts
Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents recently arrested around 1,500 undocumented individuals in Massachusetts, including serious offenders like convicted murderers, rapists, and domestic abusers, through what is known as the “Patriot Operation.”
This operation targeted those with criminal backgrounds, as well as individuals with pending charges. Reports indicate a variety of offenses involving those taken into custody.
Out of the 245 individuals with convictions, 34 had been charged with drunk driving, while 19 faced assault and battery charges. There were 17 with serious assault convictions and 15 linked to drug trafficking. The list also included 10 domestic abusers, 9 child rapists, 6 individuals charged with burglary, 2 murderers, and a couple of others associated with adult abuse.
For the 545 illegal aliens facing upcoming criminal charges, the accusations include 94 counts of aggravated assault, 70 of assault and battery, and 62 drunken driving cases. Additionally, 27 are connected to drug-related offenses, with 11 charged with rape.
Some of the details emerging from this operation highlight particularly shocking crimes, such as child rape and the production of child pornography.
For instance, a 32-year-old undocumented immigrant from Guatemala was apprehended and is facing charges related to indecent assault on a minor and battery, linked to reported trafficking incidents.
One alleged case revolves around a child rape accusation in Roxbury, Massachusetts, involving an undocumented individual.
In another striking case, a 29-year-old from Brazil was arrested and is now facing multiple charges, including aggravated child rape and possession of child pornography.
A 45-year-old Guatemalan immigrant was previously convicted of murder in 2020 and is serving a life sentence. Similarly, a 37-year-old from Honduras has charges stemming from allegations of rape, indecent assault, and luring minors.
