Authorities say they will extradite convicted murderer Lori Vallow, a so-called “cult mom,” from Idaho to Arizona on one count of first-degree murder and one count of prior first-degree murder in Maricopa County. .
Vallow, who was convicted in May of killing her two children and her husband’s first wife in Idaho in 2019, also killed her ex-husband Charles Vallow and her niece’s ex-husband Brandon Bordeaux in 2019. He has also been charged with a crime.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office will hold a press conference regarding Vallow’s charges at 2 p.m.
“MCSO Deputies departed Maricopa County in a vehicle and traveled to Pocatello, Idaho for the extradition of murder suspect Lori Vallow. Extradition Office FATE. and K-9 Deputies were monitoring the weather conditions. “The vehicle was moved in consideration of potential air travel complications that could prevent seamless travel,” MCSO said in a statement Thursday morning.

On Nov. 29, deputies returned to Maricopa County just after midnight and Vallow was booked into the county jail.

An Idaho jury ruled on May 12 on charges of conspiring to kill Chad Daybell’s first wife, Tammy Daybell, in the murders of 7-year-old JJ Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan around September 2019. In June 2020, investigators found the bodies of JJ and Tylee buried on Chad Daybell’s property in Rexburg, Idaho.
JJ was wrapped in plastic and a plastic bag was placed over his head, causing him to suffocate. Tyree’s cause of death remains unknown, and prosecutors said during the trial that her body was dismembered and burned before burial.
