The singer known for “Romantic Murder,” D4VD, has reportedly ended his lease and moved out of a $4 million mansion in Los Angeles.
Recently, an activist was seen removing the New York-born singer’s belongings from a temporary residence in Hollywood Hills. This came after he abruptly decided to leave a $20,000 rental amidst a murder investigation, as reported.
The four-bedroom property was examined by police on September 17, as they sought to uncover details about how Celesteri Bas Hernandez, a young teen, ended up deceased in the back of D4VD’s car earlier this month.
When authorities searched the residence, it was uncertain if D4VD was still on the premises.
David Anthony Burke, the singer’s real name, has not been identified as a suspect in the investigation regarding the teenager’s death.
Her body was discovered on September 8, just a day after her 15th birthday, when D4VD’s abandoned Tesla was towed to a lot in Hollywood.
Since this grim discovery, investigators have been looking into her background.
Celeste Rivas Hernandez had been reported as a runaway at age 13 last April and had left home on at least two occasions due to family issues.
Officials have yet to identify any suspects in this complex case.
D4VD, who has gained significant popularity on TikTok, has faced public scrutiny since the discovery of the girl’s body. His team indicated that he has suspended his world tour and is cooperating with police as links between him and the teen have surfaced.
The Tesla involved was registered in D4VD’s name, where Rivas Hernandez was found. Some circulating online images have shown D4VD alongside a young woman resembling her.
Earlier, messages shared through his Discord fan server suggested that D4VD had been linked romantically to a teenager named “Celeste” in the past.
Despite having over 2 million followers on Instagram, D4VD has created an unreleased song that includes the name “Celeste” on two occasions.
Some pictures have surfaced featuring the artist with a young woman who bears a striking resemblance to Rivas Hernandez, whose mother had previously mentioned that her daughter was dating someone named “David.”
