ICE Agents Rescue Migrants Under Fire in Dallas

Surveillance footage from an ICE facility in Dallas reveals agents bravely rescuing migrants trapped in transport vans amid sniper gunfire. Despite the danger, the agents managed to move survivors into the safety of the building.

A video shared by Fox News Dallas reporter Brooke Taylor shows the agents swiftly pulling immigrants from the vans and rushing them indoors while shots rang out nearby. Taylor noted that agents were “quickly shuffling detainees inside the facility while they ducked behind two transport vans.”

Once inside, the agents relocated the migrants to safer spots within the building, only to return to help those injured during the attack.

According to an ICE official, they hope this footage will highlight the bravery of the agents, who face significant risks while doing their jobs. The official mentioned that the agents aren’t swayed by anti-ICE sentiments; rather, they willingly put themselves in harm’s way to assist the detainees.

Officials described agents at the Dallas Field Office as feeling “shattered, devastated and annoyed” that the public isn’t aware of their everyday efforts to protect the community.

As for the casualties, the number of migrants killed by the snipers remains uncertain. Angel Garcia Harnandez, a Mexican national with a history of criminal offenses, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and is in critical condition. Another injured individual, Jose Andres Baudon Molina, is a Venezuelan citizen. The status of Norlan Guzman-Fuentes, whose nationality is currently unknown, is also unclear. Reports indicate he has a lengthy violent criminal history, including charges for battery and aggravated assault.
