Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) appears to have been caught in a hot microphone last week threatening to kill Tucker Carlson. The footage was word-of-mouth on Monday when he was confronted online by peers and critics about his remarks, with lawmakers suggesting he didn't say anything like that.

Towards the end of the interview, Esington referred to the hundreds of millions of dollars the US gave to Ukraine, saying, “I know people like Tucker Carlson will have arguments that there is a real opportunity cost. That money could have spent it on borders and fixed US issues.”
When asked if the money provided to Ukraine would be better to support Americans, Crenshaw said, “You can walk and chew Booblegum at the same time. – about Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid.
“Who will threaten him to kill him next?”
“Tucker doesn't know what he's talking about,” Crenshaw continued. “I don't take his advice very seriously because Tucker likes to visit Moscow and talks about how great the grocery store is.”
Additional footage After the interview, he appeared online to Crenshaw, showing Esington asking Crenshaw, “Have you ever met Tucker?”
“We talked about a lot on Twitter. If I saw him, I'll kill him,” the lawmaker apparently replied.
Esington showed X that Crenshaw had doubled when he laughed at his remarks.
