Valentine’s Day Flower Tips from Dating Coach

Dating expert Margarita Nazarenko recently shared insights on why men should consider buying flowers for their partners, especially around Valentine’s Day and other casual occasions.

In a video aimed primarily at women, Nazarenko encouraged them to share it with “the men who didn’t buy me flowers for Valentine’s Day.” She expressed her intention to advocate for the men, assuring them that they weren’t in the wrong for not doing so earlier.

“You did nothing wrong,” she started, “but let’s discuss the benefits of buying flowers using a bit of ‘bro-science,’ if you will.” She emphasized that men often think about return on investment, so she laid out some figures.

According to her, the cost of flowers ranges from $40 to $80, with their emotional impact lasting anywhere from three to seven days. “Whenever she walks past those flowers, it’ll remind her of you,” Nazarenko said. “It’s an inexpensive way to reinforce how great you are in her mind.”

She continued by suggesting that giving flowers demonstrates thoughtfulness without the pressure of having to come up with the perfect words or plans. “Just saying, ‘I thought of you,’ helps build emotional trust, which can grow over time,” she explained.

Furthermore, she mentioned that when a woman shares a photo of the flowers with her friends, it subtly lets other men know that someone cares for her. “When you recognize there’s competition, you tend to feel more attached,” she added, touching on basic psychology principles.

Looking at the bigger picture, Nazarenko suggested that if a man were to buy flowers every other month—about six times a year—this could amount to $360 annually. “For that investment, you can make her feel cherished, which could mean fewer arguments and more affection,” she argued.

“You probably spend more on things that you won’t even remember,” she noted. To really stand out, she advised giving flowers on random days, stating it shows intention rather than obligation.

The video generated a lot of buzz, with numerous women thanking Nazarenko for her advice. Comments ranged from expressing a desire for more videos like this to requests for translations into different languages. “This is my favorite video on the internet right now,” one viewer remarked.

However, some viewers felt that if a man needs such a video for motivation, perhaps he isn’t the right match. “If you have to send it, it’s probably not worth it,” one commenter pointed out.
