“For people like me, independents and moderates, the Democrats didn't give us a choice…It was a bad campaign, and their sheer arrogance and moral superiority is what drove people away. ,” Portnoy said. “You say you're voting for Trump, and suddenly you're a Nazi, you're Hitler, you're trash. Enough. Enough.”
“You are alienating the middle class by acting as if you are better than us, smarter than us, and frankly insulting our intelligence. Trump is a democracy. “A threat to? That was the entire Democratic campaign,” he added. “It wasn't about policy because we all knew we wanted change…Kamala consistently said she was no different than before. [President] Joe Biden is not going to do anything different than Joe Biden, who was the last person there. ”
Harris told “The View” on Oct. 8 that when faced with a question about how she would govern differently than Biden, she “couldn't think of anything.”
“What she sold to the public was that Trump is Hitler, Trump is evil, he's a dictator…We're not stupid,” Portnoy said. “Democrats were saying Joe Biden was mentally healthy for two years when he couldn't even get off the stage to give his vegetable speech.”
Portnoy also accused Democrats of staging a “coup” by replacing Biden with Harris as the party's nominee.
“Those who are pulling the strings for the Democratic Party, please remove them because they have lost the conspiracy. Tonight is about the Democratic Party,” he said. “Congratulations, Donald Trump. I voted for him and felt I had no choice but to vote for him.”
