It’s been about six months since President Donald Trump made headlines, overshadowing former Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democrats on Election Day. In the meantime, some liberal media outlets are realizing they may have missed the mark.
Concerns about Biden’s mental acuity, the origins of Covid, and ambiguous issues around children transitioning have been under scrutiny. Many are claiming to finally see the truth, perhaps because they’ve been misled for years.
The everyday Americans across the country seemed to know more about these concerns long before the media caught on. Now, we can’t help but wonder what took them so long to grasp the reality.
While conservatives voiced concerns about Biden’s ability to lead years ago, it seems the mainstream media, exemplified by figures like CNN’s Brian Stelter, is only jumping on these stories now. Last summer, Stelter dismissed claims that Biden was struggling, calling such narratives “cheap fakes.”
It’s a bit puzzling, right? Joe Scarborough of MSNBC, defending Biden, even claimed he is “intellectually the best Biden ever.” But we’ve seen Biden appear confused, walking away from stages, mumbling—and not holding any press conferences.
As Trump takes the spotlight again, media outlets rush to highlight inconsistencies in Biden’s communication and may even acknowledge lying. However, if we were aware, why weren’t they?
Stories about Covid have also emerged, with new revelations that maybe the virus originated in a lab, that masks might not have been effective, and social distancing guidelines were possibly inflated. Anyone who suggested these ideas years ago was often dismissed.
As for the southern border, there’s now acknowledgment that the situation is critical, with Biden’s policies being called into question. Even British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has described the open-border policies as a “failed experiment,” urging for better assimilation and English language skills among immigrants.
And it’s astonishing that, somehow, the media is only now recognizing that biologically, men cannot become women. For decades, there has been a discourse claiming that if someone identifies as a woman, they should compete in women’s sports. Meanwhile, not treating children with life-altering medications has been labeled “transphobic.”
Real people, however, witnessed the physical advantages of trans women in sports, like swimmer Leah Thomas, and heard from athletes like Riley Gaines who express how unjust it is to compete against men in women’s events. It’s palpable that children lack the maturity to make such significant decisions regarding their identities.
Ultimately, the UK Supreme Court understood this fundamental principle: a woman is biologically defined as such—not someone who merely claims the identity.
The pressing question remains whether the media truly believed these narratives or knowingly perpetuated falsehoods while sacrificing their credibility. Are they lying, or simply misguided? The evidence leans heavily toward the latter.
While the liberal media seems to think their late apologies and admissions will restore trust, many of us see through the façade. It seems they can still deceive themselves, but they won’t fool us anymore.
