Deion Sanders Makes Cryptic Social Media Post
On Wednesday, Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders shared a somewhat enigmatic message on social media. He urged, “Stop lying today, tomorrow, and the next day. Also, stop trafficking false rumors and stories that do not involve one witness standing by the stories they personally told in order to cycle publicly.” This message was posted on X.
Interestingly, Sanders didn’t specifically reference any reports or clarify what he meant by “false rumors and stories.”
Currently, Sanders is the head football coach at the University of Colorado and has been under intense media scrutiny recently, especially following the NFL Draft where his son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, was selected.
In April, Shedeur was picked 144th, despite expectations that he might go first overall. This unexpected drop became a hot topic of discussion, even prompting critiques from notable figures like former President Donald Trump regarding NFL teams not selecting a quarterback in the earlier rounds.
During the same week, Deion also shared a message titled “Lies,” expressing frustration over misinformation. His post included the sentiment that “the lie is repeated by who tells it. The goal is to hear. The truth may have been consistently standing in front of U for years, but you don’t see it because the lies are in your mind.”
Regardless of his legendary NFL background, Deion Sanders remains a focal point for media attention, and the range of subjects he might be referring to when discussing “false reporting” is quite wide.
