Deion Sanders explains why he got involved in social media scrap

Last week, Deion Sanders and the rest of the Colorado Buffaloes were in the middle of a social media scrap as the head coach came under fire for his efforts to overhaul the roster.

Sanders wrote about the hate he receives from critics and people in X, telling a fan who asked him to stop treating his son Shedule like he was “the coldest guy around” during a 4-8 season. They responded with applause. Sanders said Shedur would be a top-five pick in the draft and wondered where Juan’s son would end up.

Coach Prime then explained his statement.

“I’ve got to do better than ride it, but it was boring,” he said. “Pregame show.” “I didn’t say anything hurtful because I was bored. I don’t attack people.”

Sanders expressed similar thoughts after Austin Peay defensive back Jaheim Ward got into an altercation with Colorado’s Caleb Mathis. One X user then posted Ward’s stats with the governors and added, “Take a seat.” This prompted the head coach to say, “Yes to the law.”
