A Delaware man is accused of stealing $11,000 worth of cigarettes from a Walgreens store, police said.
Delaware State Police posted on Facebook that the incident happened Thursday at the Walgreens on New Linden Hill Road in Wilmington.
“Yes, you read that right: $11,000 worth of cigarettes!” the agency wrote.

Police say while the clerk was busy elsewhere in the store, the man walked behind the counter and grabbed a large amount of cigarettes.
Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect. Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to contact Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
“Your information may help solve this case!” police wrote.

Police released surveillance camera footage Saturday that showed the suspect inside the store.
The image shows a man wearing a red shirt and red shoes and pushing a walker.
