Delta Airline Flights and US Air Force jets collided with each other in the air on Friday near a fatal collision between different commercial jets and military helicopters near DC.
The incident on Friday occurred outside the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and is linked to the Airbus A319 and Air Force T-38 Jet, NBC News It has been reported Saturday.

Destined for Minneapolis St., Delta Flight 2983 Paul was on a regularly scheduled route during the incident. The airline said it had two pilots, three flight crew members and 131 passengers on board.

The Associated Press (AP) reported that a near miss occurred on Friday two months after an Army helicopter and commercial jet crashed each other on Jan. 29 near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
“It happened when a regional jet from Wichita, Kansas collided with a military helicopter around 9pm at the end of a flight from Wichita, Kansas,” the AP said.
The tragic clash above the Potomac River has killed 67 people, Breitbart News reported.
Following a close call on Friday, authorities did not report any injuries. Delta said it will cooperate as authorities consider the incident.
