The airline evacuated the Delta flight to Fox News Digital just before it took off at Florida’s Orlando International Airport on Monday after Flames began firing from one of the plane’s engines.
The Delta Flight 1213 from Orlando to Atlanta was in the tarmac when people inside the airport filmed video of passengers in flight using emergency slides to evacuate the aircraft. A while later, a flame was fired from part of the plane.
The Airbus A330 was carrying 200 passengers, 10 flight attendants and two pilots at the time the incident occurred, a Delta spokesman told Fox News Digital in a statement.
Flames were found on the tailpipe of one of the plane’s two engines, urging crews to follow procedures to evacuate passenger cabins, a spokesman said.
