Democratic lawmaker dismisses Venezuelan migrant gang problem: ‘It’s the MAGA gang’

Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett claimed Saturday that “MAGA gangs” and not illegal immigrants are behind crime and community unrest.

Crockett accused former President Trump of spreading lies about immigrant crimes and said the real problem was his refusal to condemn white supremacists.

“He said these cities and towns are getting out of control with gangs and crime, and I totally agree with that. So what's going to happen? It's the MAGA gangs that decided to pounce. “I agree with him, but I don't agree with who the problem is,” Crockett said on MSNBC's “Versi.” spoke.

She continued, “The problem is him and his minions. The problem is not the people who came to shore up our economy, but the people who actually went on to help make sure we got out of a big hole. It's the people.'' He threw us into the aftermath of COVID-19 with his own incompetence, and while I agree that there is certainly a problem in our community, it's usually the white supremacists on the other side. He hasn't appealed it yet. ”

Crockett also accused President Trump of harming states affected by recent hurricanes by not telling the truth.

“As far as him being a liar, that's just the way it is. The problem is, there are people who will absolutely listen to him. That's the scary part, even in North Carolina and Georgia and Tennessee. Even people who are in need.'' In Florida or in any state, they are literally hurting themselves because they don't have the ability to tell the truth about what it takes to get help. , because we think it will help the campaign,” Crockett said. .
