Democrats’ Social Media Slip-Up Highlights Biden’s Absence

A recent attempt by Democrats to undermine former President Donald Trump backfired when social media users revived awkward holiday moments from former President Joe Biden.

The Democratic National Committee’s official account on X shared an Easter-themed post featuring former President Barack Obama alongside the Easter Bunny, captioned “Better Times in the White House.” However, the glaring omission of current President Biden sparked intense discussion online.

Ken Klippenstein, a progressive journalist, noted on X, “I love the way they ignore Biden (lol).”

Subsequent posts from the DNC continued to leave out mentions of Biden, which didn’t go unnoticed. One user responded to a clip of Biden awkwardly interacting with the Easter Bunny by saying, “Imagine ignoring one of the most iconic moments of the recent Democratic presidential inauguration.”

Another user commented sarcastically, saying, “Strange how they ignored the last Democratic president’s famous Easter moment.”

In defense of Biden, a pro-Biden account retorted with an image of the current president and Jill, captioned “#BetterWithBiden.”

Conservative commentator David Marcus weighed in, stating, “Wow, that’s a brutal bashing of Joe Biden.”

The DNC did not respond to requests for clarification on the posts.

Meanwhile, the White House planned to hold a traditional Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn.

On a different note, former President Trump kicked off Easter with controversial remarks, including threats directed towards Iranian leaders. He declared, “Tuesday is Power Plant Day and Bridge Day rolled into one in Iran,” in a signed post, warning them to open the Strait of Hormuz or face dire consequences.

In contrast, President Obama sent out a warm Easter message, conveying to Americans that, “It’s a joyful holiday that reminds us of the enduring power of faith and hope.”
