Democrats lead by double digits in the Senate Nevada Races ArizonaAccording to a new Fox News poll, these two battleground states could be key to deciding control of the Senate.

Arizona Democratic Senate candidate Rep. Ruben Gallego is leading his Republican opponent, Kali Lake, by 15 points. According to a pollIn Nevada, incumbent Senator Jacky Rosen, a Democrat, Leading Republican Sam Brown won by 14 points.

Democrats in Arizona and Nevada have large leads in the race, but other candidates in their party, notably Sen. Jon Tester of Montana and Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio, are still seen as weak in the November election.

Democrats narrowly won their majority in the last election, are expected to lose Sen. Joe Manchin's seat in West Virginia, and have little room for error in other battleground states.

After President Biden dropped out of the race in late July, Vice President Harris announced her candidacy for the presidency, sparking enthusiasm and energy among Democrats in battleground states.

The Fox News poll also found Harris leading former President Trump by two points in Nevada and one point in Arizona, with Fox News reporting that the race is close in key Sun Belt states, and both leads are within the margin of error.

Harris currently holds a slight lead over Trump, according to most election forecasters, with a 4.4 percentage point lead in the Hill/Decision Desk average of national polls, which have not yet reflected a post-convention surge in her support.

Nevada and Arizona were seen as favorable for Trump when Biden was still in the race, but are now considered close races. Cook Political Report.

The Arizona and Nevada polls were conducted Aug. 23-26 among 1,014 voters in Arizona and 1,026 voters in Nevada. Both states have a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
