Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) says Democrats are “organizing here in El Salvador,” and secures the release of 29-year-old Kilmer Abrego Garcia despite allegations that he is a domestic abuser and a member of the MS-13 gang, previously involved in human trafficking.
Garcia, along with Maxwell Frost (D-FL), Jassamine Ansari (D-AZ), and Maxine Dexter (D-OR), traveled to El Salvador this week, with President Naive Buquere releasing Abrego Garcia from law enforcement custody.
“I’m here in El Salvador and check in with a group of House Democrats defending the release of Kilmer Abrego Garcia, and of course many people sent here without legitimate procedures,” Garcia said in a video posted to X.
Here I met with the ambassador, the US Embassy. We meet with our supporters on earth and we are holding it here in El Salvador. We spoke with Abrego Garcia’s family. We are here to raise awareness that Kilmer needs to go home. We need to build support not only here in El Salvador, but also in the United States. He has to go home. [Emphasis added]
As reported by Breitbart News, Garcia traveled to El Salvador as 41-year-old Mario Edgardo Garcia Aquino, an illegal alien, and was charged in her California hometown with rape and murder of 13-year-old Oscar Hernandez.
According to California State Police, Garcia Aquino raped Hernandez, murdered him, leaving him on the side of the road in Ventura County.
Garcia Aquino has also been accused of sexually assaulting other young boys in California, and often meets them through his job as a youth soccer coach. Garcia has not issued an official statement about the incident.
