“The Chosen” actor Jonathan Roomy and “Reagan” star Dennis Quaid took to social media on Wednesday to share a humorous exchange in which they each appeared in character. According to reports, Daily CallerRoomie is known for his breakout role as Jesus Christ in the hit series “The Chosen,” while Reagan is gearing up to play former President Ronald Reagan. “I was recently hanging out with Dennis Quaid and Jonathan Roomie. Dennis is playing the lead role of the 40th President of the United States in a movie called ‘Reagan’ later this month, and Jonathan is playing a powerful role as Jesus in ‘The Chosen One,’ so the idea came to me,” says Lowry. The biopic, titled “Reagen,” is scheduled to hit theaters on August 30, 2024.
“Portraying Ronald Reagan was a big challenge,” he said. Daily Caller.
“I think what’s appealing to audiences is that they get the whole story,” he added. “I’d only heard bits and pieces about Reagan’s life. This film really brings the whole story together.”
Quaid stars alongside Penelope Ann Miller as Nancy Reagan, Meena Suvari as Reagan’s first wife Jane Wyman, Lesley-Ann Down as Margaret Thatcher, David Henrie as a teenage Reagan, Kevin Dillon as Jack Warner, and Jon Voight as KGB agent Viktor Petrovich.
