Deputy in Arizona reportedly attempted to coerce a ‘hot MILF’ detainee into sex prior to his arrest for kidnapping

A sheriff’s deputy in Arizona has been arrested for allegedly making inappropriate comments toward a female detainee during transport.

Travis Reynolds, a 22-year-old deputy with the Pima County Sheriff’s Office, reportedly called the woman “hot” and “milf” on March 19. This incident occurred while he was taking her to jail, as detailed in arrest documents.

In a concerning display, Reynolds, who had previously worked on a case involving Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping, shared a vape pen with the handcuffed woman. He allegedly suggested they go to a hotel for sex and claimed he could assist her with her legal issues.

Inappropriately, he even showed her a pornographic video featuring a man and woman, leading the detainee to think that the man was Reynolds himself. According to the complaint, she then asked him to perform oral sex on her.

The unnamed woman later expressed feeling “really bad” about the situation and repeatedly asked to be taken back to the jail to avoid being alone with him, according to the allegations.

Despite her pleas to return, Reynolds allegedly insisted on seeing her breasts before finally taking her to jail. Surveillance footage indicated that he kept her in his cruiser for over two hours before doing so.

When interviewed by Tucson police, Reynolds claimed he “may or may not” have shown the detainee explicit material or discussed sex. Interestingly, he suggested that it was the woman who first brought up the idea of sexual activity.

On March 26, Reynolds was arrested and charged with kidnapping. At his initial court hearing, the prosecutor highlighted the troubling nature of the charges, particularly given the power dynamic at play.

Concerns were raised that there may be other victims; therefore, the judge set his bail at $200,000 and prohibited him from contacting the victims involved. He is due back in court on April 6.

The prosecutor noted that the victim was “extremely fearful” of Reynolds and the potential for retaliation given his authority.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed they were aware of the charges and that Reynolds had been terminated from his position after the arrest. Tucson police also stated they informed the department about the arrest, adding that they would not be providing further details.
