The very same media that hailed Kamala Harris as America’s new “border czar” in April 2021 is now claiming that not only was she not America’s “border czar,” but her mandate did not include slowing the surge of illegal immigration at our southern border.
Here are the proven liars offering their support for Kamala this week at the far-left PolitiFact (we won’t link to the misinformation). No, they say, she wasn’t the Minister for Borders. No, she wasn’t in charge of reducing the influx of illegal immigrants.
Biden directed Harris to address the root causes that drive migration to the US, but not to control who and how many people cross the southern US border – that is the responsibility of the secretary of homeland security.
Experts say results from addressing the underlying causes of violence, economic insecurity and corruption that drive people out of Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras will take time to emerge.
Let’s start exposing that lie in Joe Biden’s own words… Here are the relevant portions of Biden’s March 25, 2021 public statement:

Since Biden tasked Harris with solving the border crisis (which he purposely created), Harris has been the “border czar” and one of her key roles is to “To deal with the sudden increase in border crossings.”
A perfect example of the media’s latest effort to gaslight voters comes from the far-left outlet Axios.

The number of unaccompanied minors crossing the border has reached crisis levels. As the Emperor of the Borderssaid it would investigate the “underlying causes” that drive migration. [emphasis added]
You’ll notice that Axios explicitly states that Biden has appointed Harris to be “border secretary.”

But today, this Axios Gas lamp Axios itself would have us believe that they are not saying that Harris is the new US border chief.
The Trump campaign and Republicans have repeatedly given Harris the title of “Secretary for Border Affairs,” even though she never actually holds such a title.

Harris will also be taking over the jobs of retiring officials. He has years of experience. Last week, former Mexican ambassador Roberta S. But after more than three years of total failure, we are told she was never a border czar. And to further the gaslighting, we are also told Kamala’s job did not include stopping illegal immigration at the southern border.
