Diddy Hits NBCUniversal with $100 Million Defamation Suit over ‘Making of a Bad Boy’ Doc

Rap Mogulshaun “Diddy” Combs – in prison awaiting trial over accusations of sex trafficking and assault – has filed a $100 million lawsuit against NBCuniversal and its streaming service Peacock, and the network has recently written documentary He claims he slandered him. Diddy: How to Make a Bad Boy.

The lawsuit filed Wednesday in Manhattan's New York Supreme Court, alleges that it “shamelessly advances conspiracy theory.” This includes a strong hint that the rapper killed longtime girlfriend Kim Porter and his companions.

“The documentary advances the false narrative that it is not “accidental” that Porter and others in Combs' orbit died.

Make a bad boyThe Peacock debut in January comes with multiple talking head interviewees who have given their opinions on the rap mogul's personal life, offering a dark and crazy explanation of Combs' rise in fame.

The lawsuit also challenges the documentary's text, which features the subject matter of an interview named Courtney Burgess. He claims to have videos of sexually assaulting people who say they look like minors.

Combs is seeking $100 million in damages. NBCuniversal has not commented on the lawsuit yet.

In addition to his upcoming criminal trials, Combs faces dozens of civil lawsuits, including allegations of sexual abuse and attacks from women and men.

Comb denied the allegation.
