Music Teacher Accused of Inappropriate Behavior with Student

A middle-aged music teacher is facing serious accusations after allegedly making a teenage student uncomfortable with unwanted advances. Rudolph Infante, 53, who teaches at Miami Southridge High School, reportedly kissed the girl between her breasts and shared details about a heart tattoo he got, claiming it symbolized his affection for her.

Infante apparently showed the student a pair of heart tattoos on his ribcage and explained that one represented him while the other was for her, according to an arrest warrant obtained by local news sources.

Infante reportedly began giving the student piano lessons in August 2025. During this time, he allegedly made inappropriate comments and physical gestures, including hugging her in a way that made her uneasy and even grabbing her buttocks on more than one occasion.

There were moments that were outright alarming. For instance, Infante allegedly “pulled her onto his lap” while she was seated, causing her distress. It’s also reported that he leaned over to kiss her on the breast during a troubling encounter, leaving the girl frightened.

In addition to the kiss, Infante was also said to have touched her shoulders, back, and arms, along with repeating the inappropriate behavior with her buttocks. The student recounted an incident where Infante took her phone while she was using it and typed in “Call Rudy” with his phone number.

Remarkably, the student expressed feeling too intimidated to refuse him, citing his size—standing at about six feet tall and weighing around 225 pounds. She finally reported Infante in February, though her exact age has not been disclosed.

Infante was arrested on a Friday and is now facing multiple charges, including four counts of assault on a student by an official and one for criminal mischief. He has pleaded not guilty and was released on $14,000 bail, but has been ordered to remain under house arrest with an ankle monitor. A judge has mandated that he stay away from the girl and any school premises.

The school district has begun the process of terminating his employment in light of these serious allegations.
